PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter solving a problem that in a conventional rice transplanter, the rise and fall control of a planting part is automatically carried out according to predetermined conditions in a control part, etc., on the other hand, an operator has inconvenience in the case of intentionally not carrying out the rise and fall of the planting part, especially in adding seedlings to the planting part (in seedling addition operation) or in the rotation of the rice transplanter, when the rise and fall of the planting part is automatically controlled, the planting part is stopped at height where the rice transplanter has difficulty in seedling addition operation and since the planting part rises to the highest part in spite of rotation, a time required for rotation is unnecessarily made longer to reduce operation efficiency. SOLUTION: In the rice transplanter having constitution that the planting part 4 is attached through a rise and fall link mechanism to a traveling part, the planting part 4 is lifted and lowered by an actuator, the rise and fall link mechanism is equipped with a means for detecting the height of the planting part and an operation part is equipped with an operation means for stopping the planting part 4 at fixed height.
