PURPOSE: A drum type washing machine is provided to prevent the mixing of washing water with foul water in a drain hose when supplying the washing water by blocking the introduction of the foul water remaining in the drain hose with respect to the inside of a drum. CONSTITUTION: A drum type washing machine includes a drain hole(61) connecting a drain pump with a drain hole(51a) and formed with a holding shoulder(61a) by reducing a flow channel to prevent the advancing of a blocking ball(66) into the drain pump, wherein the holding shoulder is formed with an auxiliary flow channel formed at a side for the purpose of drain.
