PURPOSE: A double-cyclone dust collector for a vacuum cleaner is provided to improve clearing efficiency and reduce noise by successively separating dust according to the particle size of dust. CONSTITUTION: A double-cyclone dust collector for a vacuum cleaner is composed of a lower cyclone body(40) coupled to a connecting pipe at a suction side of a cleaner body, and an upper cyclone body(30) coupled to a connecting pipe at a discharge side of the cleaner body and communicated with the lower cyclone body by an air passage(37). The lower cyclone body and upper cyclone body are installed at the lower part and upper part of a casing(23). The lower cyclone body has a lower exhaust port(43) communicated with an upper suction port(31) formed at the upper cyclone body through the air passage. The air passage has an inner guide passage(39) formed in the casing, and an outer guide passage(38) formed at the outside of the casing.
