PURPOSE: A power steering system of a vehicle is provided to improve operation feeling of a steering wheel and traveling stability by variably regulating the projection degree of a valve shaft gear according to the traveling speed and load of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A power steering system of a vehicle is composed of a fixed electromagnet(31) fastened and installed in the center of a control valve shaft(20); movable electromagnets(33) disposed in plural guide holes(21) penetrating an outer peripheral surface of the control valve shaft about the fixed electromagnet; a valve shaft gear(35) connected to the tip of the movable electromagnet and projected out of the control valve shaft through the guide holes; a controller(51) for receiving an input signal from a load sensor(43) and a speed sensor(41); a relay unit(55) for changing polarity of one of the fixed and movable electromagnets by power of a battery(53); and a variable resistance(57) electrically coupled between the relay unit and the fixed electromagnet to vary the polarity intensity of the fixed electromagnet according to the controller.
