PURPOSE: Provided is a concrete admixture having multifunctionality such as water-reducing property, fluidity, water resistance, rust resistance, and chemical resistance for construction of concrete structures. CONSTITUTION: The multifunctional admixture mixed in concrete comprises the components of: 40-65wt.% of dispersant such as calcium lignin sulfonate, formalin condensate of sodium naphthalenesulfonate, polycarbonic acid copolymer and formalin condensate of sodium melamine sulfonate; 5-20wt.% of fatty acid selected from fatty acid esters and fatty acid metal salts, and preferably fatty acid metal salts(<=5micrometer) such as zinc oleate, calcium oleate, zinc stearate, calcium stearate or magnesium stearate; 10-25wt.% of silica such as humed silica(0.1-0.15micrometer), silica slurry(0.1-0.15micrometer), silica sol, colloidal silica(20-50nm) or silica zeolite; 5-10wt.% of rust resistant material such as morpholine or nitrite; 5-10wt.% of promoter for control of hardening of concrete such as calcium chloride, carbonate or triethanolamine salt; 1-5wt.% of plasticizer such as sodium gluconate; and 0.2-1wt.% of surfactant such as nonylphenyl ether.
