PURPOSE: A tilt steering system of a vehicle is provided to adjust tilt angle with a simple structure, to reduce the number of parts without mounting a separate plate, and to obtain a space securing advantage. CONSTITUTION: A tilt steering system of a vehicle is composed of a supporting bracket(300) for connecting and installing upper and lower steering columns(100,200) covering a steering shaft; a fixed gear unit(400) mounted at the lateral side of an end of the lower steering column and formed with saw teeth in an annular shape; a movable gear unit(500) hinge-combined at the side of the upper steering column to move axially and formed with saw teeth engaged with the fixed gear unit at the other side; a lever(600) having an intermittent unit(610) disposed at one end to intermit the movable gear unit; a lever transfer unit(700) having a push button joined to the other end of the lever to move vertically a position of the lever; and an elastic body(800) for uniting the movable gear unit to the fixed gear unit by applying elastic force to the movable gear unit.
