PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotatable roll wherein a thermal conduction to roll body from a medium is improved. SOLUTION: In the rotatable roll comprising a roll body and a passage attached thereto to pass the medium, particularly a liquid for controlling the temperature of the roll body, it is proposed a separator, which is able to be inserted into at least one of the passages and controls the medium, and/or a deflector to be installed. The separator and/or the deflector, in built-in condition, provide regionally a direction variable range with acute angle to the vicinity of the passage.
