PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device that reproduces acoustic data and static image data from a recording medium. SOLUTION: Acoustic data are recorded in a recording area for the acoustic data and static image data corresponding to a static image reproduced for an acoustic reproduction period of each track are recorded in a recording area of the static image data. Designation information of an entire static image (static image group) by each individual track and control information including information in pairs with designation of a specific static image in the still picture group and designation of display timing are recorded in a TOC area as individual track control information. Even after the end of reproduction as to a selected track, when the static image data stored in the static image data memory 5 are stored and the static image group in the track control information of the reproduction track selected next is discriminated to be the same as the static image group stored in the memory 5, no storage is made from an optical disk to the memory 5.
