An application distribution unit identifies the address of an intelligent telephone on the basis of wireless connection, and determines the type of information based on the contents of a visiting card. The distribution unit selects and collects the information and sends it to the telephone over the same transmission path over which the requested visiting card is received. An independent claim is also included for software product for providing wireless agent application for ad-hoc type short distance connections.
