The system has an electric motor (16) that delivers an output torque to a transmission mechanism (22) connecting the motor to a power regulating unit of a thermal engine. A drive unit (10) receives information to control the motor according to the force to be exerted on an accelerator pedal of the regulating unit. The force exerted on the pedal is equal to the motor output. The motor varies the value of force independently of the pedal position. An independent claim is also included for a process to generate a return force on a control pedal of a unit for regulating power delivered to an automobile vehicle. |
