Disk cartridge and a disk drive for use with same

The cartridge has a sliding shutter slidably coupled with a cartridge shell for closing and opening an access window. A shutter lock device selectively locks the sliding shutter in a closed position where the sliding shutter closes an access window. The sliding shutter at the closed position cannot slide unless an upper end of a stopper portion is located below a bottom surface of a top shutter unit (13a). An independent claim is also included for a disk drive for use with disk cartridge.
