<p>The blank (6) has a support geometry (9) that allows the blank to be attached to a milling machine. A pre-fabricated connecting unit (5) allows a resulting prosthetic component (13) to be properly connected to other prosthetic components. An access path (7) fastens a screw which will be used later to secure the prosthetic components together. The blank is made of a biocompatible material e.g. titanium.</p> |
