A discrimination unit discriminates switching timing of mixed gases of different ratio in a cylinder, based on preset predicted and actual diving patterns. A determination unit determines whether the cylinder selected by the diver causes shortage of gases, based on the discriminated switching time and gases to be switched and accordingly prohibits selection of cylinder.
