<p>A plurality of CPMG sequences is used to obtain NMR data with an instrument having a gradient magnetic with a constant resolution of T2. Different values of acquisition time (AT) are used for different frequencies with a typical ratio of the number of frequencies having a given AT being 1:1:2:8 with a corresponding ratio of ATs of 16:8:4:2:1. In an alternate embodiment of the invention, modified CPMG sequences are used wherein the angle associated with the refocusing pulses is less than 180 °.</p> |
