Method for inserting an information field into an image of a scene has the following steps: determination of the presence and the position of a face (GES) in an image (BI1), inscribing of the face within a face frame object (GRO), especially a rectangular frame and insertion of information fields (IF1, IF2) such that they do not overlap the face frame object.
