<p>Object molded by extrusion, extrusion blow molding or calendering comprises 30-70 wt.% of an ethylene polymer (I) that has a melt flow index MI2 of 5-1000 g/10 minutes and contains 0-5 wt.% of an alpha -olefin or diene with 4-18 carbon atoms, and 30-70 wt.% of an ethylene polymer (II) that has a melt flow index MI5 of 0.01-2 g/10 minutes and contains 0.5-20 wt.% of an alpha -olefin or diene with 4-18 carbon atoms. Object molded by extrusion, extrusion blow molding or calendering comprises a composition comprising 30-70 wt.% of an ethylene polymer (I) that has a melt flow index MI2, measured at 190[deg]C under a load of 2.16 kg according to ASTM D1238, of 5-1000 g/10 minutes and contains 0-5 wt.% of an alpha -olefin or diene with 4-18 carbon atoms, and 30-70 wt.% of an ethylene polymer (II) that has a melt flow index MI5, measured at 190[deg]C under a load of 5 kg according to ASTM D1238, of 0.01-2 g/10 minutes and contains 0.5-20 wt.% of an alpha -olefin or diene with 4-18 carbon atoms, where the MI2/MI5 ratio is 500-50000. The composition has a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 5-70, a MI5 of 0.1-10 g/10 minutes and a dynamic viscosity eta , measured in dPa.s at 190[deg]C and 100 s->1>, such that log(177470/MI5) minus logeta divided by (2 - log(2.53 X MI5) is no more than 0.652. An independent claim is also included for extrusion, extrusion blow molding or calendering of a composition as above.</p> |
