PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device by which printing quality is improved. SOLUTION: A developing means 6 is disposed below a photoreceptor drum 2. Toner storing chambers 11A, 11B, 11C, 11D in which a first developing roller 13A, a second developing roller 13B, a third developing roller 13C and a fourth developing roller 13D are respectively rotatably disposed, are disposed at the developing means 6. A developing machine moving motor 9 in the developing means 6 moves one among the first developing roller 13A, the second developing roller 13B, the third developing roller 13C and the fourth developing roller 13D corresponding to any to be developed among liquid toners 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D to a position near the photoreceptor drum 2. Before development, a developing machine driving motor 16 rotates the first developing roller 13A, the second developing roller 13B, the third developing roller 13C and the fourth developing roller 13D at a rotation speed faster than that at the time of developing to rapidly form meniscus between the photoreceptor drum 2 and the developing roller in order to rapidly arrange developing conditions. |
