PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an individual audio-visual continuation system of digital contents which a user can continue watching or listening the contents even at different place or different audio-visual terminal. SOLUTION: A personal audio-visual action history indicating what contents and to what extent each user watches or listens, is controlled on a server. When the user stops watching or listening, audio-visual continuation information at that time is transmitted to the server from the audio-visual terminal, and it is stored in the personal audio-visual action history. When the user restarts watching or listening the contents, audio-visual start information is generated from the personal audio-visual action history and contents information, which describes the feature of the contents, on the server, and transmitted to the audio-visual terminal. When the terminal type of the audio-visual terminal does not correspond to contents type of digital contents specified by a contents identifier, the contents are converted to correspond to the terminal type of the audio-visual terminal, and also the audio-visual continuation information, which correspond to the converted contents, is generated. |
