<p>The transceiver has a switch (31) to select an antenna of multiple antennas (5, 6, 12) when a preset user operation is detected for receiving a signal from a base station (1). A control unit (30) controls the switch to select the antenna, and connects the antenna to a radio unit (33) based on the condition of the received signal. The control unit selects another antenna for transmitting a signal to the base station. An independent claim is also included for a method of switching a reception antenna.</p> |
