The apparatus consists of copyright processing information receiving unit for receiving information related to copyright processing of a recording medium and copyright processing information recording unit for recording the received information on a recording medium. The information processing apparatus records content on the recording medium, based on copyright processing information acquired from the medium. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) transmission apparatus; and (2) recorded medium storing information processing program.
