<p>The method involves taking an image of an undercarriage (10) of a vehicle (2) by using cameras (3, 4), and digitizing the image to obtain a digital image. The digital image is compared to a reference image of the undercarriage of the vehicle to detect differences between the digital image and reference image. An alert is provided if there are significant differences between the images. An independent claim is also included for a system for detecting a hidden object under a vehicle.</p> |
