According to the invention, the textile carrier comprises a proper textile carrier made of 100% cotton or cotton and polyester cloth impregnated with 40...80 g/m2 flexible size consisting of 67...100% acrylic styrene latex and 0.33% phenol formaldehyde resin and coated with 40...60g/m2 of semirigid film consisting of 35...100% acrylic styrene latex, 0...50% phenolformaldehyde resin, 0...10% sodium polyacrylate, 0...30% feldspar and 0...5% cross linking agent of the melamineformaldehyde resin type. The claimed carrier is made by a process consisting of impregnating, scraping and calendering, where the impregnation is performed in a single layer by nip-padding the cloth with a homogeneous solution comprising 67...100% acrylic styrene latex and 0...33% phenol formaldehyde resin having a viscosity of 900...1200cP, followed by a cross-linking heat treatment performed at a temperature of 100...125 C, scraping by depositing a size film having a viscosity ranging from 7,000 and 15,000 cP and comprising 0...50% phenolformaldehyde resin, 35...100% acrylic styrene latex with 0...5% cross-linking agent of the melamineformaldehyde resin type, 0...30% micronized feldspar and 0...10% sodium polyacrylate, followed by a cross-linking heat treatment at the temperature of 100...125 and calandering by hot pressing the cloth between two cylinders heated to 100...120 C, for smoothing the roughness.
