The invention refers to medicine, in particular to the pediatric gastroenterology. Summary of the invention consists in that for determination of the vegetative nervous system state to children with gastroduodenal diseases it is selected and prepared the saliva test, and then it is photometrically determined the acetylcholine esterase and pseudocholinesterase level and, where the acetylcholine esterase level is hightened about the physiological norm and that of the pseudocholiesterase lowered, it is stated the dystonia of the vegetative nervous system.
