The rotor blade has a recess in the area of the blade root to receive cross pins (16,18) for connection of the blade to a rotor hub (11) of the generator. There is a draw bolt (20,22) attached to each pin to clamp the blade onto the hub. The recess in the rotor blade is only partially set through. Each recess can be formed as a cell (12,14). Multiple mutually spaced recesses can be provided to receive multiple retaining pins. The blade can have a widened cross section in the area of the blade root. |
