PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing mixed substances such as oil or the like contained in process liquid capable of reducing a running cost due to the reduction of maintenance works and prolong the life of process liquid by increasing the function for removing the mixed substances. SOLUTION: An apparatus for removing mixed substances is comprised of a suction pump 3 recovering liquid containing a lot of oil nearby liquid level of a raw liquid tank 1 which stores process liquid, a centrifuge separator 4 separating the recovered liquid by centrifugal force into liquid containing a lot of oil and liquid contained heavy mixed substances such as sludge or the like, a separation tank 5 storing the centrifuged liquid containing a lot of heavy mixed substances and separating by specific gravity difference into light oil, process liquid and heavy mixed substances, a scraping conveyor 6 scraping and recovering the mixed substances which are precipitated and deposited at the bottom of the separation tank 5 from the bottom 5a of the separation tank 5 along the internal sidewall 5b, and a oil/water separation tank 7 storing overflow liquid from the liquid level of the separation tank 5 containing a lot of oil which is centrifuged by centrifuge separator 4 and separating/recovering into the process liquid and the oil by specific gravity difference.
