PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a magnetic substance core with which the improvement of a space factor is obtained so as not to develop a gap between steel strips under winding-up state, and a method for rolling the steel strip for magnetic substance core and its rolling roll. SOLUTION: The steel strip is rolled by using the rolling rolls 2, 3 having flat portions 21, 31 and inclining portions 22, 32. The steel strip 10 obtained with these rolls is provided with the flat portions having the fixed thickness and the inclining portions changing the strip thickness. The flat portions are used as teeth parts 11 and the inclining portions are used as yoke parts 12. The gradient of the strip thickness in the yoke part 12 is expected to the reduction of an inequality of strip thickness by bending at the piling-up time. Then, after slit-working and teeth-forming, the steel strip 10 is wound up to form a stator core. When the steel strip is wound up, the thick thickness side of the yoke part 12 is made to the outside and the thin thickness side thereof is made to inside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
