FIELD: rolled stock production, namely equipment for centering strip in front of disc shears in aggregates for lengthwise and crosswise shearing hot rolled strips. ^ SUBSTANCE: roller type centering apparatus of disc shears for trimming lateral edges of moving strip includes guiding plate on which cartridges with vertical rollers are mounted with possibility of motion normal relative to lengthwise axis of apparatus at different sides from said axis. Guiding plate is mounted in housing with possibility of motion in direction of cartridge movement. Apparatus also includes mechanisms for moving guiding plate and cartridges with vertical rollers. Said cartridges with vertical rollers are mutually joined by means of timing unit in the form of leverage system. One of said cartridges is joined with rod of pneumatic cylinder mounted in carriage engaged with mechanism for moving cartridges by means of screw transmission. Guiding plate also engages with housing through screw transmission joined with motion drive unit. Mechanisms for moving cartridges and guiding plate are provided with devices for remote position control. Guiding plate is mounted in housing with possibility of reciprocation motion along distance in range 0.05(Lmax - Lmin), where Lmax and Lmin - respectively maximum and minimum possible distances between cartridges. ^ EFFECT: free guiding of strips between centering rollers, elimination of crumpling edges of strips moving between vertical rollers, enhanced quality of trimming lateral edge of moving strips. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
