FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves determining glutamyl transpeptitase and general lactate dehydrogenase enzyme activity and creatinine content. The results of glutamyl transpeptitase and general lactate dehydrogenase enzyme activity are expressed in standard enzyme activity units counted with the view on 1 mmole of creatinine. Their level being 1.5-3 times as high when compared to normal value, cystitis is diagnosed to be the case; the value being 5 and more times as high, pyelonephritis is diagnosed. ^ EFFECT: simplified and easy diagnosis method; high accuracy at early stage. |
