FIELD: medicine, therapeutic stomatology. ^ SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to apply a gel containing 8%-water soluble chitosan hydrochloride onto a gum at molecular weight being 80 kDa, diacetylation degree of 0.87 and metronidasol benzoate at 2-2.5 mg/ml at the quantity of 0.5-1.0 ml once per 3 d.
