The system (50) has elastic units (52), which are in the form of blocks and made of an elastomer material. The system is subjected with a prestressed force exerted by two arms of a frame. A prestressed force applying unit permits to apply an internal prestressed force on the elastic units to favor its deformations, where the internal force is independent of that applied by the arms of the frame. An independent claim is also included for an engine having a suspension system.
