PURPOSE: To improve life cycle of oil injection pumps and cooling rate of forged articles, thereby improve quality of the articles by forcibly collecting thus removing oxidation scale suspended in cooling oil through screen drum type filter installed at one side in a quenching oil tank. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a screen drum filter (5) which is formed in a cylinder shape, both ends of which are opened, on the outer circumferential surface of which screen mesh having a set sieve size is formed, and which is laterally arranged at one side between inner and outer walls (1,3) of the quenching oil tank (105); both side rolling supporting means which is rolling contacted respective inner circumferential surfaces of both ends of the screen drum filter in the state that the both side rolling supporting means is installed at one side of inner and outer walls of the quenching oil tank, and through one side of which rotary driving force is transmitted to the screen drum filter; a rotary driving means (20) mounted on one side of an outer part of the quenching oil tank and connected to one side of the rolling supporting means through a rotary shaft to transmit rotary driving force to the screen drum filter by generating rotary driving force by motor; and a scale removing means for separating scale (109) deposited on the screen drum filter from the outer side of the screen drum filter by injection pressure, and collecting the scale into scale receiving can (31) from the inside of the screen drum filter so that the collected scale is removed.
