PURPOSE: To effectively removing contaminant sludge adhered to a filter by an apparatus for filtering liquid, thereby improving filtering efficiency and being easily maintained and repaired. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a purifying tank (100) where an inlet pipe (101) is connected to one side and an outlet pipe (102) is connected to the other side, a filter fixing plate (2) installed on the inside of the purifying tank to partition the inner space of the purifying tank into a first space part (100a) and a second space part (100b) and having many filter mount holes (2a) communicating the first space part with the second space part, a filter coupled to the filter mount holes to filter the contaminated liquid transferred from the first space part to the second space part and a vibrator (130) vibrating the filter fixing plate to remove contaminate sludge adhered to the filter, where the purifying tank consists of a first case (111) and a second case (112), the second case is elastically coupled to the first case by a spring (151), the filter fixing plate is coupled to the second case, the vibrator is mounted on outer one side of the second case to vibrate the filter fixing plate, and a packing (155) for closely sealing the first case and the second case is made of flexible sheet or plate-shape so that the inner end thereof is fixed between the coupling part of the second case and the filter fixing plate and the outer end thereof is closely coupled to the inner circumference of the first case to keep the sealing while the second case is vibrating.
