摘要 PURPOSE: A heat pump using hydrogen storage alloys is provided to increase hydrogen transfer speed by transferring forcibly the hydrogen by generating pressure difference between two heat exchangers after charging the hydrogen storage alloys with different response properties for the hydrogen in each heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump using hydrogen storage alloys is composed of a pair of heat exchangers(10,20) for generating cold or hot air by a heat-exchanging action; cold and hot air passages(11,21) communicating with the outside from each heat exchanger; and a pair of dampers(12,22) for separately opening and closing the cold and hot air passages. The hydrogen storage alloys with different response properties for the hydrogen are charged in each heat exchanger. A connection pipe(30) is linked between the heat exchangers. The connection pipe is branched off to a hydrogen bypass pipe(31) for transferring voluntarily hydrogen and an intake pipe(32) for transferring forcibly the hydrogen. 3-way valves(34,35) are arranged at each branch spot of the hydrogen bypass pipe and the intake pipe. An oilless-type compressor(50) is communicated and mounted between the hydrogen bypass pipe and the intake pipe.
