The device has a liquid/gas separator (18) receiving a refrigerant fluid from a release unit (14) and separating fluid into liquid and gaseous phases. The liquid phase is collected at an upper part of the separator and sent to an inlet of an evaporator (16) via a primary duct. The gaseous phase is collected at an outer part of the separator and sent to an evaporator outlet via a secondary duct (24).
