NAVIGATION SYSTEM USING MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL WHERE ONLY GPS RECEIVER IS MOUNTED WITHOUT GYRO SENSOR AND SPEED SENSOR, AND NAVIGATING METHOD THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE: A navigation system using a mobile communication terminal which only a GPS receiver is mounted without a Gyro sensor and a speed sensor and a navigating method thereof are provided to supply a navigation service by using a map matching method and a map data downloading method. CONSTITUTION: A navigation information providing server(300) is used for receiving present position and destination information from mobile communication terminals(10,11,12), extracting an optimum path by using map information and real-time traffic information, and generating path induction data for the optimum path. The path induction data include a path guide message, image data, and map data. An information processing server(200) is used for receiving the path induction data and mobile communication terminal information, converting the path induction data according to kinds of mobile communication terminals, and transmitting the path induction data to the mobile communication terminals. The mobile communication terminals perform a position display function and a path guide function by using a map matching method.
