PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guidewire storage case for a capsule endoscope which facilitates the handling of a guidewire for inserting and guiding a capsule endoscope and can also keep the guidewire clean. SOLUTION: The guidewire storage case for a capsule endoscope is provided for storing the guidewire for a capsule endoscope used for inserting and guiding a capsule endoscope. The main body 4 of the case is provided with a storing section 5 for storing one or a plurality of guidewires 1 collectively and an opening 7 for drawing out the front end section of the guidewire 1 stored in the storing section 5.
