GUIDEWIRE-TYPE CAPSULE ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guidewire-type capsule endoscope capable of inserting a guidewire into the deep part of the colon easily and also capable of inserting a capsule endoscope to a target region in a short time using the guidewire as a guide. SOLUTION: The guidewire-type capsule endoscope 1 is provided for inserting the capsule endoscope 3 into lumen using the flexible guidewire 2 as a guide in order to observe inside of the lumen. The guidewire-type capsule endoscope includes a shape observation device 4 for detecting the shape of the guidewire 2 inserted into the lumen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
