PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device which enables a user to operate each device without directly operating an operational part disposed actually. SOLUTION: The operating device is equipped with an image projection means 11 which projects an operational panel image to an upper surface of a kitchen counter by switching a device selecting image and a device operating image constituting the operational panel image through applying projection signals made of infrared laser light, a key operation detecting means 12 for detecting whether an operational key in the operational panel image projected by the image projection means 11 is operated, and an operation command output means 13 which recognizes the operated operational key on detecting the operation of the operational key by the means 12 and outputs the operation command corresponding to the operational key to the relevant device subject to the operation (an illumination at hand, a range hood, a gas stove, or an oven).
