PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine providing an appropriate massage effect by giving a soft contact feeling to therapeutic portions in a massaging operation by therapeutic elements, improving safety as the massage machine, allowing a user to select an elastic modulus of a therapeutic element support body, and allowing the user to change it to an arbitrary elastic modulus. SOLUTION: This massage machine is so formed that the therapeutic element support bodies 20 composed of coiled springs are attached to a massaging rotating shaft 10 of a therapeutic element drive unit 7, and the therapeutic elements 21 are attache to the free ends of the therapeutic element support bodies 20. The therapeutic element drive unit 7 is liftably disposed to a frame 4 of a backrest part 2 of the chair type massage machine.
