SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR PROVIDING POSITION-RELATED INFORMATION USING A KEY WORD NAME, PARTICULARLY FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION RELATED TO A CURRENT POSITION OF A USER BY USING A KEY WORD NAME IN A WIRELESS NETWORK USING DIFFERENT LANGUAGES

PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing position-related information using a key word name, particularly for providing information related to a current position of a user by using a key word name in a wireless network using different languages, are provided to allow the user to quickly and easily access a Web page by inputting the Web page-related key word name. CONSTITUTION: A keyword name database(13) stores Internet address in a network, keyword names and position information which are matched to each other. When a keyword name provided from a user terminal(30) is transmitted through a mobile communication network(20), a processing server(11) requests position information of a user from the mobile communication network(20). A keyword name server(12) searches the keyword name database(13) for a corresponding Internet address based on the position information and the keyword names, and provides the Internet address to the processing server(11). The processing server(11) receives contents from one of contents providing servers(50-5n) having the Internet address and provides it to the user. A contents requesting unit(113) requests the contents from the contents providing server having the Internet address and receives the provided contents. A contents converting unit(114) converts the contents into a form suitable to be processed by the user terminal(30) and provides it to the mobile communication network(20) so that the contents can be transferred to the user terminal(30). The mobile communication network(20) measures a position of the user terminal(20) according to the request for the position information of the processing server(11) and provides the position information to the processing server(11).
