PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of increasing the choices of transmission focus and making an appropriate decision for acoustic power and the behavior of air bubbles in a contrast medium with contrast echo or the like. SOLUTION: In this apparatus, a system control part 106 selects transmission focus data corresponding to the diaphragm of the transmission focus selected by a user from a transmission focus data/reception data storage part 104, selects reception data appropriate for the selected transmission focus data, sets the transmission focus data and the reception data to a transmission/reception control part 101, stores a plurality of focus marks having different features (sizes, for instance) respectively matched with the set transmission focus data in a memory 105, superimposes them on received image data and displays them at a display part 107.
