PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access server capable of collecting statistic information such as a connection time by each NCP and an amount of input output data or the like without the need for adding an attribute of the RADIUS. SOLUTION: The access server starts collecting communication statistic information by each LCP session attended with the establishment of a data link, informs a RADIUS server about the statistic information of the LCP session when the data link is released, collects the communication statistic information by each NCP session established on the LCP session, and informs the RADIUS server about the statistic information of a released NCP session when the NCP session is released.
