PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface plasmon resonance phenomenon measuring instrument for realizing a real time multichannel multipoint measurement by a surface plasmon resonance phenomenon (SPR) method in a portable type. SOLUTION: The surface plasmon resonance phenomenon measuring instrument has (1) a sensor 100 wherein a plurality of measuring cells are formed on the metal film on the surface of a prism in one row, (2) a light source 3, (3) a first optical system 200 for irradiating a plurality of the measuring cells formed on the sensor with the irradiation light of the light source at an incident angle including a plasmon resonance angle so as to form a linear focal point on the measuring cells, (4) a second optical system 300 for converting the reflected light emitted from the sensor to parallel reflected light and (5) the linear CCP 318 arranged in a state that the focal point axial direction of the linear focal point and the arranging direction of the photodetection element 319 of the linear CCP 318 are made parallel and attached to a stage 322 having a means moving the plane vertical in the optical axis direction of parallel reflected light.
