PURPOSE: An AD(ADvertisement) method using a gift certificate is provided to make a customer recognize an AD consciously or unconsciously while the customer uses on-line charged contents by using the gift certificate offering the customer to use the charged AD contents. CONSTITUTION: The customer receiving the gift certificate to use the Internet charged contents connects to a site providing the charged contents through the Internet based on information of the gift certificate(S12). If the customer inputs a gift certificate number, the gift certificate number is certified(S20). If certification is successful, the charged contents desired by the customer is transmitted to a terminal of the customer through the Internet, and the AD associated with the gift certificate is transmitted/displayed to the terminal of the customer(S26).
