FIELD: rocket industry; ammunition industry; automatic systems of control over the reprocessing of the masses of the ballistite type blasting powder. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to production of artillery and rocket charges made out of the masses of the ballistite type powder (the double-base and the modified double-base powders and rocket propellants). The technical result: the automatic control system ensures achievement of the greatest possible productivity of the production process at assuring the safety of the process and the product quality. The method of the automatic control over the process of the manufacture of the ballistite powders and the solid rocket propellants includes the automatic control by the computer software over the separate apparatuses operation in a continuous process run. Productivity of the separate apparatuses in the continuous process run is synchronized according to the absolute value of the level of the material in the feeding bins of the apparatuses and the first derivative of this value. The computer control within the program is exercised on the basis of the quantitative criteria of safety and quality with achievement during the operation of the maximum productivity with the priority of the safety and quality criteria.
