The system has a surveillance center (2) with a control panel (6) for controlling the operation of components embarked in a vehicle. A storage unit of the vehicle stores an actual position of a vehicle at all instant. The control panel displays each instantaneous speed of the vehicle under graphical form and displays the route of the vehicle on a cartographic assembly to view the speed of each portion of the route.
