PURPOSE: An upper yarn supplying device for an automatic embroidering machine is characterized by having simple structure and reducing working hours. CONSTITUTION: An upper yarn supplying device for an automatic embroidering machine comprises: a head stem(7) installed in a needle operating part(90); a yarn supplying part(10) containing a yarn guiding path(11) supplying one selected from upper yarns(3) having different colors; a guide pipe assembly(50) which is set on condition that the same is separated from the yarn guiding path(11) according to an axial direction of the yarn guiding path(11), containing a guide pipe(51) taking the upper yarn from the yarn guiding path(11) and guiding the upper yarn to the needle operating part(90); and a yarn tension controlling part(60) containing a movable part passed through an intervals between the yarn guiding path(11) and the guide pipe(51) and contacted with the upper yarn and a driving part driving the movable part in a horizontal direction of an upper yarn supplying direction. The movable part detours a supplying path of the upper yarn, so tension of the upper yarn is controlled. |
