PURPOSE: A thin client system and a managing method using the same are provided to efficiently manage programs distributed/installed to many servers and enhance security function by differently assigning access authority of a user to each program. CONSTITUTION: The thin client servers(10) are equipped with the programs to be provided to the user. A management system(15) generates a common program list from the collected program lists after collecting the programs installed to the server by using a thin client server list, and assigns authority information of each user for the generated common program list. An active directory server(25) updates environment information of each user depending on the authority information assigned from the management system. A database(20) stores the thin client server list and the generated common program list, and updates a server group software list with the common program list assigning with the authority information.
