PURPOSE: A method for collecting garbage data in a mobile terminal is provided to prevent an interrupt from the external and to smoothly execute garbage collection by transferring a mobile terminal to a lower power mode form a moment in case that garbage collection is made or needed for a flash memory in the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: If it is judged that garbage collection(FGC) is required(S101), an FGC_task requests an MC_task to transfer to an FGC_mode(S102). The MC_task issues a low power mode transfer command to an SRCH_task in order to transfer the idle mode of the mobile terminal to a low power mode(S103-S108). If the mobile terminal is transferred from the idle mode to the low power mode, the FGC_task executes garbage collection(S109). |
