PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape measuring method of an object with a closed surface capable of measuring the shape of the closed curved surface object existing in a continuous phase having translucency and having substantially the same translucency as the continuous phase. SOLUTION: In this shape measuring method of a closed curved surface object 11 existing in the continuous phase 10 having translucency and having substantially the same translucency as the continuous phase 10, the closed surface object 11 in the continuous phase 10 is imaged, and the position of the boundary part 13 between the closed surface object 11 and the continuous phase 10 is specified from the luminance difference by using the imaged image 12, to thereby measure the shape of the closed surface object 11.
